Printing is an important part of a photographer's work. Whether you print it or someone prints it for you, printing an image has this miraculous way of making the image real and tangible. It takes the photograph from the world of pixels and electrons to one that is physical—something you can hold in your hand. I have been telling workshop students for years that “real photographers make real prints.”
